- Kendriya Vidyalayas are
pace setting institutions in the country and Kendriya Vidyalaya
Mysore in Karnataka is no exception
- This school came into existence
on 01-07-1993 under Civil Sector with classes I to V in a temporary
accomodation in DFRL campus with strength of about 100 students
- The
school has since then grown under the valuable and resourceful
guidance of the VMC, sincere efforts of the staff and the hard work
of students into a leading Kendriya Vidyalaya in the region
- Now we
have a beautiful spacious building with all infrastructure
facilities located in GITB Press Campus with a strength of 1450
students and 52 dedicated staff
- Located in the midst of peaceful
and serene atmosphere in the city of palaces, Mysore, the school
caters to the academic and co-curricular needs of children from
various walks of life
- The vidyalaya has three sections from
Class I to X, two sections for XI and XII , offering Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/ Computer Science, Maths/Hindi and English as
subjects in Senior Secondary Section
